It's a routine to be taken. Here's what you need to do:
For oily leather models: just apply a renovating oil (we sell them in our shoe shop section). It will waterproof, deeply nourish and revive the colour. Little tip: rather place the oil on a cloth before applying it to the shoe. You can then polish with a shine brush.
And for your leather soles: Remember to order temporary pads, so you don't slip everywhere the first few times. But we recommend you to drop them off at your shoemaker's when you receive your pair so that you can have real skates put on them. Your shoes will only last longer.
The little doe (Biche) is beautifully embossed, hot stamped in the leather, at the back of this model. Discreet, the doe will accompany you everywhere!

For leather soles, as usual: these Chelsea boots are sewn Blake, at our manufacturer Fernando, in north of Porto. The Blake is by far the seam that we prefer at Pied de Biche.
First because it is this process that allows us to imagine and design shoes more flexible, more elegant than most shoes on the market (especially those Goodyear sole). Second, because it's a sign of quality and durability. Eh yes.

Now, between the leather sole and the lining of these men's boots, we slipped a rubber interlayer.
First, it allows to isolate the foot of the cold, what to have feet warm. Then it helps cushion the shocks even more and it gives a much more stated look to these Chelsea Boots.

The Chelsea Boots have a small heel of 2.5 cm and this British ease. In other words, you can wear them in all circumstances staying dressed, chic, without doing too much.

As you may have noticed: no lacing for these shoes but beautiful high elastic side. At first, it's funny. It's as confusing as an escape from the Tour de France.
But it has two merits: first it's easy to put on. Enough to gain precious minutes between the moment when we finish brushing our teeth and where we insert the key in the lock.
