Integral lining in wool
Our Chukka Casual Four are entirely lined with wool. Something to warm your feet for the winter!
Contrasting stip
The Pied de Biche Chukka stands out by the quarter strip detail that matches the uppers sides. It is their small touch of fantasy, often copied and loved! The contrasting backstrap is part of the Pied de Biche DNA!
The stitching
We decided to add to the classic Chukka style these beautiful stitches! They add a touch of originality to these sleek boots!
Beveled top piece
The 2.5 centimeter heel is made out of leather. The heel block top piece is beveled with at the back a natural rubber pad and at the front a leather layer.
Blake sewn
The leather sole is attached to the upper by a Blake stitch. This technique guarantees both flexibility and finesse. Blake stitching also guarantees great longevity, since your cobbler is able to re-sole your Chelsea boots.
Leather sole or crepe sole
The leather sole brings maximum elegance. It is also a material with natural breathability.
Crepe soles are natural, with a rough and irregular surface: a rubber sheet that reinforces the soles of the shoes. They give the shoe a natural and casual look.
Cowhide leather
The leathers used for the shoe upper are either greased leathers, calfskin leather or smooth cowhide leathers. We prefer very natural leathers with a vegetable or semi-vegetable tanning.
Our artisans are extremely careful and cautious during the cutting phase, in order to select the most beautiful parts of the skin to ensure you enjoy the most beautiful, soft and comfortable shoes.
