- Shoes care
For this smooth leather model: an efficient and simple routine !
Here are the 3 golden steps to respect: first, have a beauty cream to nourish the leather (the most important), then a brush stroke to make it shine. And if you still have 30 seconds: waterproof to avoid rain and mud stains. We have everything we need in our shoe repair shop, don't hesitate.
And for your leather soles: we give you a temporary sole protecting pads, just to avoid slipping everywhere the first few times. However, upon receipt of your pair, we recommend that you drop them off with your shoemaker in order to have real pads installed. Your shoes will only last longer.
An Italian Leather
For the upper of our flat Ambre sandals, we either use smooth cowhide leather or calfskin suede. All the leather used during the process of making these sandals are from the North of Italy.
Our craftsmen take particular care of the cut in order to select the most beautiful parts of the skin. Oh yes!
Handcrafted for your feet
Our shoes are the keepers of a precious craftsmanship that we found right within the European capital of the shoe in Portugal: Porto. It is there, that our artisans invest their whole selves to insure the high quality of the shoes throughout the year.
At Pied de Biche, we make a point of highlighting the hard work provided by those incredibly talented hands, without which we would be nothing, or at least, not much.
