What do you think of when someone says "classic loafers"? A pair of formal men's shoes, bourgeois shoes that are difficult to wear on a daily basis... The image of the classic men's moccasin has not aged well, which is why Pied de Biche wanted to restore this city shoe to its glory days.
The shape of our classic leather loafers is inspired by the Penny Loafers: the formal loafers worn by American students in the 1930s. Despite their vintage inspiration, our models are modern and trendy for mid-season.
A little anecdote: the leather insert at the front of the Penny Loafers was perfectly shaped to hold a small round object, like a penny (hence the name).

How to wear your classic moccasins?
Men's mocassins are comfortable and versatile shoes. Depending on the color or material, this men's shoe fits many mid-season and summer looks.
Classic mocassins are by default vintage and chic dress shoes. Wearing them with formal and dressy outfits remains a timeless combination. They are also easily worn with casual/chic style for everyday street wear. A sweater, chino pants and you're done! And for the originals, the classic loafers for men can also be associated with workwear.
