It's a little routine to get into.
Here's what you need to do for this suede model: you need to waterproof it with a suede waterproofing spray (we also sell them in our shoe repair section). This protects from stains and water and will optimize the longevity and good holding of the leather over time.
And for your leather soles: to get the most out of it, we're offering you your temporary pads, so you don't slip everywhere the first few times. But we recommend you to drop them off at your shoemaker's when you receive your pair so that you can have real skates put on them. Your shoes will only last longer.

Designed in Paris and made in Porto, the European capital of shoe making, nothing is left to chance when it comes to the making of those city shoes. Made with Italian calfskin suede; we have only selected the best for this pair of low shoes.

Just like its 200 years old history, we desired to make our Garance Derbies just as durable and timeless, so that you are able to wear them for a lifetime.
To do so, we have carefully selected every components of the Derbies. The gold upper of the Garance Derbies is entirely made with gold calfskin suede chosen within the Trentin region, in the North-East if Italy. The 3 cm heel is made of a leather piece and natural rubber pad. Both the sole and the lining are fully made in Italian cowhide leather. Finally, a 4 point lacing insures a complete adaptability for your feet.
