Don’t be surprised if the leather slightly discolors overtime. Pull-up leather is similar to greased leather. Albeit robust, it is still a natural leather that lives and experiences patina. It is possible your shoes lightens naturally at the creases.

Shoes care
It's a routine to be taken. Here's what you need to do:

For oily leather models: just apply a renovating oil (we sell them in our shoe shop section). It will waterproof, deeply nourish and revive the colour. Little tip: rather place the oil on a cloth before applying it to the shoe. You can then polish with a shine brush.

And for your leather soles: Remember to order temporary pads, so you don't slip everywhere the first few times. But we recommend you to drop them off at your shoemaker's when you receive your pair so that you can have real skates put on them. Your shoes will only last longer.

The Pied de Biche Touch

Pied de Biche wanted to keep all the technical characteristics of these lace-up boots.
Their genuine leather sole is accompanied by a rubber midsole, a real thermal insulator. In addition, their 100% lambswool lining is going to keep your feet comfortable and warm.
Robust, they are sewn in Blake and finished with a nailed heel. Fully lined in cowhide, our women's lace-up ankle boots provide unparalleled comfort. Their rising, laced upper elegantly refines the ankle.

Back in Blake
Leather soles: these Chelsea Boots are sewn with Blake, from our manufacturer Fernando, north of Porto. Blake is by far the most popular couture at Pied de Biche.
