Step 2: Apply a care cream to nourish the leather.However, if your shoes are made of patent leather, do not waterproof them, as this type of leather does not need it.
Note that the cream does not penetrate patent leather immediately. Wait until wear creases appear, then twist a soft cloth to apply the cream into those creases, allowing the leather to receive the necessary care.And for your leather soles: to enjoy them right away, we offer you temporary sole protectors so you don’t slip during the first wears. But we recommend that upon receiving your pair, you take them to your cobbler to have real sole protectors fitted. Your shoes will then last much longer.
