Sneakers that stand the test of time and protect the environment
Our women's sneakers are GRS (Global Recycled Standard) and Oeko-Tex 100 certified. Their Seaqual® recycled fabric is made from ocean waste. This waste is sorted, washed and cut into small flakes, which are then mixed with other (higher-quality) recycled polyester to make yarn and fabric.
Why did we turn to recycled fabric? Adding recycled fabric to our designs seemed to us to be a coherent and consistent part of our responsible approach. So we approached our manufacturers to source this new material. After several months of R&D, we found THE recycled fabric with which we are 100% satisfied: Seaqual® recycled fabric.
